Substack or WordPress? Do you subscribe to both? Do you prefer one over the other? I only ask because I want to write something a bit niche, and I’m not sure if this is where to do it -though “Life” is part of the blog title, and I’ve stopped focusing on energy healing – or Substack would be better.
And, by the way, I most likely won’t continue to pay for the domain name here, and I’m hoping it will just become thishealinghobbitslife.wordpress.com when the time runs out. If not, I’m going to be a bit lost. lol

Personally, I’m all wordpress because of the paypal buttons, ability to have standing pages as well as blogging, the degree of theme customization, and text to voice podcast interface with anchor fm. It does what I need it to do.

Paypal buttons ROCK. Hit forward slash or whatever you do that lets you choose the kind of block you want (paragraph, image, list, quote, headline or whatever) and search “paypal” and it should bring up the block option that lets you create a paypal button with a photo, product description, connect the button to your paypal email…when you are done, people can click the button and purchase the session or whatever just like checking out on any other website.
